MARINE EDUCATION COORDINATOR, DOLPHIN ENCOUNTERS LTD.

May 2015 - November 2016

After working and interning over summers during my years in undergrad, I worked as an informal educator at a marine mammal facility. In my time as Coordinator, I designed and taught curriculum to children, from ages 9-13, about the marine animals, marine conservation, the global environment and climate change. I created and facilitated experiences for groups of all ages to meet marine mammals and connect with their marine environment, while encouraging conservation. I also hosted interns interested in pursuing careers in marine biology, veterinary medicine and animal training.
